Polyphonic Vol1 ‘ Ekkentrites’

The performance Polyphonic Vol1 ‘ Ekkentrites’ is a musical concert-research of the mixed choir of Syros Musical Club (M.O.Σ.) and the female ensemble Λαlunε on the theme of choral music and how monophonic music is transformed in the light of polyphony.
Our research led us to a special selection of songs in terms of era and musical genre. The show will present works from the international Rock, Punk, Folk scene to Greek traditional and contemporary folk music.

Indicatively will be heard works by bands such as Pink Floyd, The Clash, M. Hatzidakis, G. Angelakas, Heimerinoi Kolymvites etc.
We aspire to make this concert an institutional performance dedicated to polyphonic music.
