The theatrical play The Haute Cuisine of Relationships is a comedy characterized by a strong sense of realism, without lacking in enchantment. The play begins as a couple enters a luxurious, atmospheric restaurant to celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary. The dialogue is fast-paced, sharp, and witty, carrying profound meaning. With an abundant sense of humor, the play addresses serious issues inherent in marital life. Questions regarding Marriage, Dreams, Interests, Psychoanalysis, Sins, and Chance Encounters preoccupy Kiki and Michalis—an ordinary couple who constantly mirror one another. In their lives, love alternates with anger as they experience a deeply realistic relationship. From the outset, the stage is shared by the performers Jean-Louis Compère and Attraction Marion, who provide a touch of magic, surrealism, and biting underlying commentary, as well as Vlachos Lampis—impetuous, clumsy, and… a catalyst.
