Meet The Violins – Syros International Music Festival
Conceived and directed by violinists Asi Matathias and Tosca Opdam , the second edition of the – Syros International Music Festival consists of a week of captivating music making and chamber concerts that will feature some of the most sought after international from New York, Amsterdam, Berlin and Brussels such as Pinchas Zukerman, Amanda Forsyth and more.
Concerts will take place at the historic Apollon Theater in Ermoupoli. The concert repertoire will include, but is not limited to, romantic music that was written in the era the theater was built.
During the first Syros International Music Festival, the outreach program, which included concerts at elementary, middle and high schools as well as elderly homes and homes for people with special needs, touched the lives of over a 1000 youngsters.
This year’s festival hopes to develop this program to include a unique mentorship for gifted young musicians.

Ticket prices vary based on the concert night and ticket categories, ranging from 5 euros to 60 euros. Tickets will be available at the box office of the Apollon Theater and on ticketservices.gr.
