A timeless romantic mystery thriller. A modular work of two distinct stories, places and times, permeated and sustained by the absolute love each of these two dazzling beauties gives birth to. In ‘CLEOPATRA’, the Roman general Antony arrives to subjugate ancient Egypt and her legendary seductive queen, Cleopatra, but he falls in love with her at first sight, just like she does… Their epic love, with scenes alternating with Rome of the co-ruler Octavian, will prove immortal until the end… In ‘ESMERALDA’, the tantalising and completely innocent, beautiful but impoverished Roma girl Esmeralda dances in public by the Parisian Notre Dame to survive; unwittingly attracting the lust of men. However, in 1482, the die-hard and unloved archdeacon of Notre Dame, Claude Frollo, considers her an instrument of Satan…
