3rd DOCUMENTING HERITAGE FESTIVAL
A MULTIFACETED THREE – DAY CELEBRATION OF CULTURE
The Documenting Heritage Festival return to Syros for its 3rd consecutive year, once again aiming to explore and highlight innovative practices for documenting and preserving cultural identity –locally and globally. This collective initiative gathers professionals from architecture, music, conservation, cultural management, and the arts, united by a shared mission: to raise awareness and protect both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
The festival hosts events and guests from across Greece and abroad, featuring a rich program that includes: documentary screenings, musical performances, guided tours of neoclassical buildings (“Open Hermoupolis”), educational workshops for all ages, and various parallel events showcasing pioneering cultural documentation techniques

The Festival -held under the auspices of the ministry of Culture, Europa Nostra Hub, and the Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage- is co-organized by the Syros Institute, HERMeS, the Hermoupolis Historical Museum, the Municipality of Syros – Hermoupolis, and the South Aegean Region.
