Music Like Fireworks

The Association of Asia Minor Refugees of Ermoupolis, Syros, in collaboration with the Municipality of Syros–Ermoupolis, is organizing an opera evening at the Apollon Theatre on Wednesday, September 9, at 8:30 p.m., as part of the anniversary celebrations marking 200 Years of Ermoupolis.

A fascinating, high-caliber program filled with melody, depth, and emotion, featuring musical compositions by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Strauss, Lehár, Eduardo di Capua, Ernesto de Curtis, A. Lara, Riccardo Confidero, and others.

An enchanting musical evening featuring excerpts from popular—mainly Italian—operas, including arias, duets, and quartets, as well as well-known songs, Neapolitan songs (canzonette), musical theatre pieces, and more.
