Plutus (Wealth) by Aristophanes

Childhood memories often transform texts such as Aristophanes’ Wealth into a modern day fable. This timeless comedy awakens vivid images that marked our childhood years and shaped our souls. The neighborhood, the shadow puppet shows, the folk songs, the familiar spaces are amongst many of the elements that will be brought back to life on stage.

We hope that they touch you as deeply as they did us, reviving the scent of Greece we all long for. Featuring a cast of 25 actors and contributors, this production celebrates the enduring spirit of ancient comedy.
