The Inner Voice

Two international jazz ensembles meet on the stage of the historic Apollo Theatre of Syros: the trio of pianist and composer Georgios Tsolis and the Cypriot pianist/composer Christos Yerolatsitis.

Two distinctive line-ups of artists from Greece, Hungary, and the United States will present original music shaped by years of musical experience. This music is featured on the artists’ latest personal albums, “Methexis” by Georgios Tsolis and “Day Dreaming” by Christos Yerolatsitis.

Through a continuous musical dialogue between the members of both ensembles, the two artists will share their personal perspectives on jazz, each telling a different story on stage. An evening of soundscapes, imagery, and musical narratives that aims to touch the music-loving audience of Syros, guided by their “inner voice.”
