The Peloponnese in Syros – 30 Years of History

The Association of Peloponnesians of Syros “O Geros tou Moria” invites the public to take part in the celebration of
the 30th anniversary of its founding through a landmark commemorative event at the historic Apollon Theatre,
dedicated to memory, tradition, and the enduring connection between the Peloponnese and Syros. Three decades of
strong presence in the island’s cultural life, along with a meaningful contribution to various aspects of the local
community, provide the occasion for a special evening of tribute and reflection. The event highlights the importance of
preserving cultural identity and the power of collective spirit, which brings generations together and keeps traditions
alive. With respect for the past and optimism for the future, the Association continues its mission, passing on values,
