ANIMASYROS FESTIVAL

ANIMASYROS, the largest festival of its kind in Greece and one of the largest in Europe, returns from 23 to 26 September in Syros island.
The festival’s program includes projections, special tributes, new local and international collaborations, educational activities for children, youngsters, adults, persons with disabilities and senior citizens, as well as parties and tons of parallel events.

Within the framework of the Agora, which has emerged as a reference point for the industry of the East Mediterranean region, a Pitching Forum, presentations, roundtables, panel-discussions, workshops and networking meetings, targeting the development of synergies among animation professionals, are organized.

The main focus of this year’s event, entitled “Africa: An Animated Continent of Animation”, is dedicated to contemporary African animation creation and production aiming to highlight the unique narratives and creative expressions of the region.
