International Cyclades Classical Music Festival
The heart of Classical Music beats in Syros once again this summer
The International Cycladic Classical Music Festival will celebrate its twentieth birthday with concerts of the highest level and distinguished names of classical music in Syros, from August 10 to 17, under the artistic direction of violinist Yannos Margaziotis.
This year’s anniversary concerts will be accompanied by: soprano soprano Christina Poulitsis, baritone Dimitris Platanias, pianist Sofia Tamvakopoulou, pianist Ai Motohashi from Japan, German pianist Anton Gerzenberg, the Athens String Quartet, two members of the Royal Danish Orchestra, violinist Lars Bjørnkjaer and cellist Tomas Lundström-Pimenides, violinist Katerina Hadjinikolaou, cellist Anastasia Deligiannaki, Danish-American violinist David Bogorad and violinist Yannos Margaziotis.
Every year travellers from all over the world visit the enchanting capital of the Cyclades to attend the unique concerts of the International Cyclades Classical Music Festival, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.
