My Brother Amadeus

Who could introduce us to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart better than his sister?
Pemi Zouni transforms into Nannerl Mozart in the new theatrical play by Minas Vintiadis, under the direction of Vana Pefani.
“A Maestro, a talent, a genius, a child prodigy”.  With these words, a member of the Mozart family was praised in the 1760s. It was not
Wolfgang Amadeus, but his sister Nannerl Mozart. It has been proven that one of the greatest composers learned music under her guidance. At the time, she herself was considered one of the best pianists in Europe.

Together, they plowed through all of Europe and everyone admired them as “child prodigies”. Until Nannerl turned eighteen. According to the
customs of the time, she had to be married. Thus, this great musician was pushed aside…

Their childhood and development, the personal story of Nannerl Mozart and her relationship with her father and her famous brother. Step-by- step, the evolution of a myth will be presented in a harmonious combination of Theater and Music. A story about unfulfilled desires, sibling relationships, about “talent”, about love and loneliness. A deeply human story, unknown to most of the public and concerns everyone.
