Nikos Gatsos – 20 songs and the poem “Amorgos”

Supported by the Municipality of Syros – Hermoupolis and under the auspices of Ministry of Culture.

The performance concerns the presentation of the great poetic and lyrical work of Nikos Gatsos. It includes screening with moments from his life, concert with the performance of 20 famous songs with lyrics by Nikos Gatsos and the by heart recitation of “Amorgos”, the unique poem in Gatsos’ work, which is a superb example of surrealistic approach.

The ticket proceeds will be donated to the Syros Holy Metropolis’ Agios Ioannis Nursing Home in Talanta.

With the participation of The Cyclades Orchestra Children Choir.
