The Municipality of Syros–Hermoupolis is honored to announce the launch of its summer cultural program for the year 2025.
Through a rich and high-quality schedule of events, including concerts, theatrical performances, visual art exhibitions, film screenings, and various activities for all ages, we aim to highlight the cultural identity of our island and to enrich the cultural life of our local community and visitors alike.
The events will take place in iconic locations throughout Syros, contributing to the island’s cultural outreach and offering high-caliber cultural experiences. This year, as the Capital of the Cyclades, we have the honor of welcoming the ERT National Symphony Orchestra for the opening of the “SYRREO” Classical Music Festival, under the Artistic Direction of Mr. Nikolas Kavakos, with a grand Greek operetta show on August 3, 2025, at Miaoulis Square in Hermoupolis. The festival will conclude with a remarkable chamber music concert by Mr. Leonidas Kavakos at the historic Apollo Theater on August 17, 2025.
